Did you know that the Mountain View Humane mobile clinic serves southwest Virginia and beyond? Since 2020, our mobile clinic has facilitated spay and neuter surgeries for nearly 2,000 cats and dogs in Virginia, West Virginia, and even Georgia! That means that these 1,968 altered pets are no longer reproducing and they will likely live much healthier and longer lives! In addition, over 100 pets received services at our wellness clinics, we have administered more than 1,800 vaccines, and almost 1,000 pets have been microchipped – all thanks to the Mountain View Humane mobile clinic.

This is only possible because our mobile clinic can travel to a variety of locations that may not have access to affordable spay/neuter, wellness, and vaccination options for our beloved best friends. With many rural areas in our region, travel can be a real challenge – especially when you’re transporting a pet or multiple pets! But all of this traveling comes at a cost. Our mobile clinic requires lots of routine maintenance and upkeep, and these expenses add up.
