Mountain View Humane is proud to offer low-cost, high-quality dental care for cats and dogs! Our dental services are designed to help keep your pet’s mouth healthy and address dental problems before they become more serious.
Dental appointments are available on Mondays only.
During your pet’s dental appointment, our licensed veterinarian and veterinary technicians can provide:
- Teeth scaling and polishing (cleaning)
- Dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Anesthesia
- Bloodwork
If dental radiographs and examination determine that your pet needs tooth extractions, a second appointment will be required to perform the extractions. This allows our veterinary team to thoroughly evaluate your pet’s teeth and develop the appropriate treatment plan before extractions are performed.
To schedule your pet’s dental appointment, give us a call at: 540-382-0222. Payment in full required at time of scheduling.

Check-In for Your Dental Appointment:
Check-in is between 7:30 – 8:30AM, the same as our spay/neuter appointments.
- Your pet should not eat food the morning of the procedure. Water is allowed.
- If your pet requires oral medication, it may be given with a small amount of food unless otherwise instructed by our veterinary team.
- At check-in, you will be asked to sign the Dental Informed Consent Form and Hours Disclosure Form.
- Please let our team know about any changes to your pet’s health or medications before the procedure.
Pick-Up:
Your pet’s pick-up time will be determined by the veterinarian based on the procedure and your pet’s recovery. We generally expect patients to be ready for pick-up approximately two hours after their procedure or between 4:00 – 4:30PM
Please understand that pick-up times are estimates. The order in which dental procedures are performed is determined by the veterinarian, and recovery times can vary from patient to patient. Our team will give you a call as soon as the procedure is complete to give you an update on your pet’s status and an estimated pick-up time.
If your pet needs extractions, our team will discuss the findings with you and help you schedule the separate extraction appointment.
