Animal Care Assistant:

  • Tasks can include: 
    • Laundry
    • Surgical pack preparations and cleaning of instruments. 
    • Daily cleaning of kennels and treatment rooms. 
    • Assisting with discharge of animals at the end of the day. 

Office Assistant:

  • Assist the front office staff by helping make charts. 
  • Take photographs of intake and discharge for grant opportunities. 
  • Work on assigned tasks as needed (filing, cleaning, organization, etc.)  

Event Assistant:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events, tables, fairs, festivals, etc.
  • Speak on behalf of MVH at community meetings and civic organizations.

Transport:

  • Travel with one of our staff members to assist with intake and discharge of patients at designated locations. 
  • Take photographs of intake, discharge, etc. 
  • Assist with cleaning the transport vehicle once back to clinic. 

General Maintenance: 

  • Helping maintain general up keep and repair
